It is straightforward enough to install the Power BI Enterprise Gateway services and configure connections, however there must be a simple answer to this mystery I'm coming across that I just haven't found yet.
Is there a simple way to arrive at what user IDs (not passwords obviously) have been used to configure what on premise data connections? Clearly for purposes such as password changes and so on you'd need to at least be able to search these connections for account names in some way or at least view them somewhere. I noticed it masks both user ID as well as password just the same.
Anyone come across an elegant solution for this other than making anyone who can set up connections pinky swear to write them all down regarding what is used where?
