Power BI Connecting to SharePoint List in a Team SharePoint Site

Simple Question I think: Can you use the Power BI connector for SharePoint Lists and see the lists that live in a SharePoint Team Site?  I am have a list in a SharePoint Team Site and it's name does not appear from the lists I can choose.  I know that the Team SharePoint Sites live in some other Site Collection, so was wondering if this was the problem.
