I am hoping someone ran across this issue and has a solution. Here is our use-case:
We are trying to use the b2b model to give our independent sales reps access to documents, information and sales reports(that are in PowerBI), all of it surfaced through SharePoint. We have the access to SharePoint working properly. As far as PowerBI, it is not working consistently. Here is the process that we go through:
- Invite the users to join the group via Azure
- Then they register
- Assign the group a PowerBI license (one-time)
- Assign group within SharePoint (one-time)
- The user then gets a link to SharePoint
- The go through the sign-on process
- The user can then go to Sales Rep. Portal (BI report)
There is inconsistent results, meaning the first 3-4 accounts work seamlessly but the next 3-4 do not work properly, even with the one’s that don’t work properly we assign an individual license and it still does not work. The one's that don't work, you just see a pulsating logo for PowerBI with no error message.
