Not receiving an error here - but have come unstuck in how to proceed with this.
Been trying desperately to get this completed, and it’s got me hooped, I seem unable to advance it further.
Looking to build a pbix that will display workers availability in a matrix/calendar view.
This, is what I am trying to reconstruct – was built in C# through functions, but is to be decommissioned in the near future.
The calendar above will display a crew member, with their booked vacations, and their scheduled (shift) time off – which is defined by the crew colour and shift rotation. Only whole days need to be represented, no time delineation, and each day cannot be both a shift day off, and a vacation day.
Whilst the shift rotations have prior start dates – I have no need to display any historical dates.
Each worker has a ‘WorkScheduleCalender’ string on their HR record, which I’ve delineated out into a ‘Rotation’ and ‘Crew’ field in a sql view, for slicers. (Not sure that is helping, or hindering me !)
I’ve got as far as creating a version, that operates well on just the vacation days off bases – I really have no idea how to incorporate the shift off days, into the same matrix visual.
